Description

Nuclear photonics explores the interaction between high-energy photons and nuclear matter, focusing on photon-induced phenomena at the nuclear-physics energy scale. Driven by recent advancements in high-power laser technology, it is emerging as a dynamic, interdisciplinary field. Key areas include the generation of intense particle beams using lasers, fundamental nuclear physics research through photonuclear reactions, and the development of innovative techniques for practical applications.

We are pleased to invite you to the second IRTG Days, which will take place from 22 to 23 May 2025 at ELI-NP, Romania.

This workshop promotes the exchange and development of shared research interests, enabling early-career researchers to expand their academic networks and lay the groundwork for future collaborations. Participants can also present their work and receive valuable feedback in an informal and supportive environment.
