The commissioning of the first beams, whose gamma energy will reach up to 19.5 MeV, is scheduled for the beginning of 2019. Hence, the scope of this workshop is to gather the community of potential users in order to:
• present the setups and instruments currently being under construction at ELI-NP
• display the possibilities for including additional instrumentation to be brought for experiments at ELI-NP
• establish scientific collaborations related to photon-induced fission studies
• discuss possible joint preparatory experiments which, apart from already available photon sources, may also involve neutron sources and surrogate reactions
• discuss Day-One photo-fission experiments
• propose future photo-fission activities at ELI-NP
