Second PANDORA Workshop

Europe/Bucharest

Description

The PANDORA project aims at systematic measurements of the E1 response of nuclei relevant for understanding the ultra-high energy cosmic ray (UHECR) spectrum, and the disintegration of these in the extragalactic medium at three main facilities: iThemba LABS in Cape Town, RCNP in Osaka, and ELI-NP in Bucharest.

The first workshop, where the project was officially launched, was held in June 2020, and was focused on invited experts on various topics. Our aim of this Second PANDORA Workshop is to follow up on this with a greater focus on contributed presentations regarding theoretical and experimental progress, and new ideas, made during the year, both for UHECR and nuclear physics.

Therefore, we would like to invite those interested to participate to register, and those interested to present their recent work to register and submit a contribution title.

The workshop will be held over Zoom.

On behalf of the collaboration,

Pär-Anders Söderström, Luna Pellegri, Atsushi Tamii
